Oasis Estate main residence viewed from the front lawn with mature tropical grounds

The Estate

A residence designed to endure generations.

Architecture

Tradition, scale, and serenity.

Oasis Estate is a two-storey luxury residence of nearly 33,000 sq ft, conceived by architect Rohan Goonetilleke and built by Sanken Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Its design draws on traditional Sri Lankan tropical architecture — deep verandahs, cross-ventilation, and pitched tiled roofs — while delivering the scale and finish of a private international estate.

Imported semi-precious granite and marble flow through the principal rooms, with Indonesian teak joinery throughout. The residence includes substantial internal reception areas; selected interior documentation is available to qualified buyers. Double-brick construction gives the house an heirloom quality rarely encountered in the region.

Interiors

Reception volumes built for scale.

The principal living rooms are arranged for generous entertaining — with teak joinery, stone finishes, and sightlines through to the gardens. Upper-level salons connect to covered terraces, allowing the residence to breathe between formal reception and private family life.

Entertaining

Dining at estate scale.

Formal dining rooms are proportioned for large gatherings — whether for family celebrations, diplomatic hosting, or boutique hospitality operations. Finishes combine imported stone with traditional craftsmanship throughout.

Lifestyle

Verandahs that open onto the grounds.

Deep teak-clad balconies and covered verandahs wrap the principal floors, framing uninterrupted views of the 4.6 acres of landscaped gardens, mature trees, and private forest sections. Every wing opens onto outdoor living space — for morning tea, late-afternoon reading, or evenings with guests.
